Following His resurrection Jesus spent forty days speaking to the apostles the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. We consider Luke's mention of the Kingdom of God throughout his account of the period covered by the book of Acts, and observe the centrality and something of the significance of this Kingdom in the apostolic preaching and teaching in the early church.
