The Introduction of Covenant

Mankind, under the striving influence of the Spirit of the Lord during the antediluvian era, reached such a point of irrecoverable rebellion against God that, apart from eight people, the whole race had to be destroyed. Following the Flood we find God introducing the beginning of covenant relationship between Himself and all living creatures with the promise that never again would the world be destroyed by a flood. We consider the covenant and the sign of the bow in the cloud and something of its relevance to ourselves in our day.
