God is Spirit, said Jesus, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. Throughout the history of the world God has sought the hearts of men and women by His Spirit. By the agency of whatever other means He uses - the scriptures, other people, natural creation, the crises of human history - God ultimately speaks to us by His Spirit, the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of His eternal Son. In the unfolding manifestation of His kingdom and its mysteries we consider the significance of giving heed to the place of the Spirit of God in our lives.
